Who rocks the party? Jay Reatard
Jay Reatard’s new album, “Watch Me Fall,” is out today. His message to his more than 4,000 followers on Twitter: “Suck my ass it smells.”
Jay is better at expressing himself through his great music. His newest album is a little bit of a departure from past outings — maybe not quite as punk?
The New York Times notes some New Zealand influence (insert your Flight of the Conchords joke here). Actually, the Times was referring to bands like The Clean. I can hear a bit of that but it’s mostly Jay being Jay.
