Pixies bring Doolittle to Chicago for three nights

When Pixies played four nights at the Aragon during the first reunion tour in 2004, the band played a number of  “Doolittle” songs (of course). Knowing how bad these reunion shows can be, I was blown away by how good the band sounded after all the years.

Pixies bring the “Doolittle” tour to Aragon Thursday for a three-night stand. The band performs its 1989 masterpiece in its entirety and throws in some outtakes to fill out the show.

The tour opened in Los Angeles this month and hits nine U.S. cities. The video below is from a show last month in Dublin. The songs are from one of the 2004 Aragon shows.
