All the Young Punks’ best videos of 2009
This post isn’t intended to be a definitive list of the most important music videos this year. It’s simply five videos that I posted in 2009 that I like more than the rest.
From the creative claymation of Grizzly Bear’s Ready, Able to the quirky Heaven Can Wait by Charlotte Gainsbourg and Beck, these videos are my favorites.
I love the farce of Jay Reatard’s It Ain’t Gonna Save Me and the simplicity of the Vivian Girls’ Moped Girls. Finally, the best mash-up of the year was Phoenix’s Lisztomania with the images of Brat Pack movies from the ’80s. See all five videos after the jump.
