Midlake is the undisputed leader of Renaissance Fair-inspired indie rock today.
Admittedly, it’s a sound that’s going put some people off but I think this new album, The Courage of Others, may actually best 2006′s The Trials of Van Occupanther.
They don’t sound like they’re from Texas.
