Scarlett Johansson, Serge Gainsbourg’s son Lulu record a song
Here’s a pitch I couldn’t resist: Scarlett Johansson recorded a song with Lulu Gainsbourg, whose father Serge was a celebrated French singer/songwriter. The song is Bonnie & Clyde and it was originally performed by Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot. Lulu is putting out an album of covers of his dad’s songs in October, From Gainsbourg to Lulu.
In 2009, Serge’s daughter, Charlotte Gainsbourg, put out an excellent album of her own, the Beck-produced IRM. You can listen to and download Bonne & Clyde by clicking here.
