Robert Plant brings Zeppelin love to Chicago
Like many adolescent boys growing up in the Midwest, Led Zeppelin was an early musical influence for me. Years later, Robert Plant plays Taste of Chicago Friday with his latest band, and some Led Zep songs are expected on the set list.
From what I read, the songs will be mostly reconstructed but it is intriguing to think of hearing the guy who originally belted out Whole Lotta Love, Rock and Roll, Ramble On and others perform those classics again. It could be a bust or it may be kind of fun.
It likely isn’t going to be as epic as the performance in the video below.
